I want my partner to do the night feed now and again for my 12 week old. He will accept a bottle of breast milk in the day with some encouragement and patience.

If I pump 9oz at 10:00, go to bed at 11pm, can I leave it out of the fridge next to the bed ready until 3am when he feeds (sometimes 2am, sometimes 4am)? Or do I have to refridgerate, then get my partner to warm it in the middle of the night (with screaming baby which will wake me up).

according to Kellymom, freshly expressed milk will keep 4-8 hours at room temperature.

You won't need to warm it as breast milk shouldn't be heated and that sounds ok to me. Check the kellymom website :)

The Kellymom says you can reheat it, just not in the microwave.

I exclusively pump and I will leave milk at room temp for 6 hours max. It can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 apparently.

Do you have a bottle cool pack? that should help to extend the life outside of the fridge. Either that or does he have to have it warmed? my dd was happy to have it out of the fridge.
