heavy, erratic blinking from 2.3 year old?

He's just started doing this. Is it a stage. He does it most when he looks at the screen. He also squints a bit. I've not been aware of sight issues before as it seems good - he points out stuff that is far away.

Not much else to say. Take him to opticians, may be a phase etc

Although if he is squinting, definitely take him to an optician.

My son did this , I started a thread about it about your sons age. The advise given was to ignore it . It's quite common and will go away which it has . Only time I notice it is if he's very tired x

Sounds like a tic to me, which is a mild form of Tourette's, lots of children have them. My son started with the blinking when he was 2 years old and he still gets tics now, sometimes they're very noticeable, especially when he's tired, anxious etc, I just ignore it, it's not something they can physically control. I used to have them as a child too, so could be hereditary in our case.
