Not sure if this is the right place to post but can anyone give me some ideas for presents for a 5 year old boy, in price range £10 - £15? I have three dds so clueless as to gifts for boys!

Pajamas with favourite cartoon character on? My ds loves making things and the sciencey things from toys r us. I have to help a lot but obviously I don't mind. He also got seamonkeys for his birthday and loves things like that.

lego/ anything pirates or transformers/ books?

PrettyBlueTrees · 15/01/2015 12:28

Lego or hotwheels sets are always welcome. Also board games, marble sets, books, 'cool' t-shirts. Minecraft toys if he's into that. What about a sporty type present like swingball or pop up goals?

Not sure if they still have them but I saw a den building kit on Wicked Uncle for around that price that looked awesome.

For an outdoor toy, I often buy the Original Stomp Rocket -£10/11 on Amazon, John Lewis and others sell it you.

It's awesome!! And makes a change from lego etc

Lego. Lego. Lego. Or anything to do with Star Wars, Angry Birds or Ninja Turtles. Not that I've just listed the contents of my house or anything, no no no

When my ds was five he would have liked Lego, Hot Wheels, Hex Bugs, Spiderman/Superhero characters etc but also a "boys" colouring book and nice pens, onesie, character t shirts. Depends on the boy. Lots of 5yr old boys I know love Frozen and would love a cuddly Anna or Elsa! Or Hans/Olaf.

A game? Orchard do good ones.

PJ67 · 15/01/2015 23:14

My 5 yr old loves ninja turtles and most action hero figures.

Thanks all. So helpful!

Geomag, hexbug, robofish, kitchen science.

DS2 would be in raptures over a new Skylander!
