I have ten week old baby and am currently on maternity leave. Today I received a text from my replacement asking me to come into the office tomorrow as the boss wants to see me.
Do I legally have to go in? The weather is rubbish and I actually just want to be with my baby and not be dealing with the drama of my office. I also feel that she should have contacted me herself. It is for her supposed obligation to keep in touch?!?!
When I was on maternity leave with a different organisation last time they left me alone. To be honest the company is going down the pan and I doubt the job will exist in 6 months.
Any advice welcome. So I'm asking is this normal and do I have too?
