Hi,
My Son is 11wks old and I'm bf him. Do you ever dream feed a bf baby?

I have once or twice but it never seemed to make a difference or benefit either of us.
I also didn't like the disturbing him when he was peacefully asleep.
He's now 20 weeks and is beginning to sleep through.
If it works for you then great, I know it works for some parents. Personal choice.

Never wake a sleeping baby is my mantra!

I did. Worked very well.

I do otherwise she is guaranteed to wake up 20mins after I fall asleep!

We tried it, didn't make a scrap of difference.

Potentially (and anecdotally) it works if you are feeding to a schedule rather than demand feeding. I fed on demand so it just didn't work for us and on demand feeding is recommended whilst baby is so young

Try it, see what happens and if it makes a difference.

At 11 weeks I found baby can get in to a little pattern (hate the word routine for a newborn) but it normally goes out of the window a week or 2 later when they hit 4 months sleep regression Smile

I persevered with it for a bit; it didn't make any difference at all but by the time I gave up on it after a week or so of trying, DD started waking herself for a feed at that time. So basically I created one more night feed that months on we're still stuck with. Total fail.
