Are they safe?? My 18 month old has been sleeping in a peppa pig one as she refuses covers or sleeping bag (can take it off) but I saw a warning on a similar suit today that they shouldn't be used to sleep in.......

Not for sleeping in no, they are meant to be used for lounging round in.

Could you cut the hood off?

diddlediddledumpling · 31/12/2014 18:23

I was buying them for dc3 for Christmas and all of the hooded ones had warnings on them that they weren't safe to sleep in. I haven't thought about it long enough to work out exactly what the hazard is.

Bigbadgeorge · 31/12/2014 18:34

Yep I guess it must be a strangle hazard? I stupidly thought at this age she'd be ok! Thanks for the replies, much appreciatedSmile
