stopping the night feed!

My 21 month old son still feeds before bed, falls asleep and I pop him into bed asleep. He doesn't feed at any other time, just bedtime and mostly feed well. I want to start preparing him to go to bed without boob first and a when he is awake. Any hints and tips MOST welcome. Thanks ??

We were the same at 26 months, I just moved the feed back earlier in the evening routine ie before bath rather than last thing before getting into cot. The feeds became much shorter straight away as she was keen to get into the bath. After about 3 nights she sucked a couple of times and came off, I asked if she'd like a cuddle instead and I didn't offer it the next night , and she didn't ask., despite being a boob monster till that point! Worth a try?
