Just had dd1 measured. She's a 10f and is 4years 7months old. Is that about average? She's tall but in age apt clothes.

It sounds about right, dd is 5 years 11 months, she is 13F.

3bunnies · 30/12/2014 06:32

Ds has just turned 5 and is 11 1/2, much to the annoyance of his sister who is 2.5 yrs older and the same shoe size.

PotteringAlong · 30/12/2014 06:33

My DS was 3 last week and he has size 10 feet.

Why? are you worried? Some people have big feet, some small!

DD is not quite 4 and is a 9G. If I buy from Next or similar she has a 10.

tumbletumble · 30/12/2014 08:45

DS is 5yrs 3m and is 12.5. He's tall too.

mistymorningmemories · 30/12/2014 08:52

Dd1 has just turned 4 and she is a 9G.

avocadogreen · 30/12/2014 08:54

My 4.5 yo is a 10 1/2 G.

InvaderZim · 30/12/2014 08:54

Remember that the shoes go back to 1 (junior) after 13 (infant)

CharlesRyder · 30/12/2014 08:59

4.4 DS in 11.5f in Clarks. Startrite come up different though?

Fantail · 30/12/2014 09:00

My tall 3.10 year old DD wears a 10.

youarekiddingme · 30/12/2014 09:02

At 4yo (and 3 weeks!) DS was a 9G school shoe. At 5yo and starting year 1 he was a 10G.

He's 10.4 now and a 2.5F

7 years ago most reception kids were an 8-10 (i worked in a bowling alley for many years) seems shoes are a bit smaller or kids a bit bigger now tho - which seems the case with adults too!

curiousgeorgie · 30/12/2014 18:17

DD has just turned 4 and wears size 8.

crazykat · 30/12/2014 18:35

dd2 has just turned 4 and is a size 10.5, dd1 is almost 7 and a size 12. I don't think there's an 'average' shoe size in the same way there's an average height at age 4/5/6 etc.

Nunyabiz · 30/12/2014 18:52

My DD measured 10 on her 3rd birthday, but the 10's i have bought her are huge! Literally can fit 2 finger widths at the back of the heal Confused so i think more like a 9.

WhispersOfWickedness · 30/12/2014 20:14

My just-turned-5yo DS has size 11, he seems about average in his class. He had massive feet as a baby (his feet didn't fit newborn socks and only fitted 0-2 for a few months! His first pair of fitted shoes were a size 7 at 18 mo!), but his friends seem to have caught up now Smile It is quite a novelty for DD to have normal sized feet (size 7 at age 3.4years) Grin

hotdog74 · 01/01/2015 09:03

My DD is 4.1 and has just been measured at Clarks as a 9.5E. Sounds normal to me!

sleepdodger · 01/01/2015 09:08

My ds has been 10 since sept when he was 3.5

GlitzAndGigglesx · 01/01/2015 09:11

My dd is nearly 4. Wears a size 7-8. I think she'll be a comfy 8 when she hits 4

KenDoddsDadsDog · 01/01/2015 09:12

10e at just gone 5.

CaptainJamesTKirk · 01/01/2015 09:13

DS is 4 years 8 months. He has size 11.5F.

Goldenbear · 01/01/2015 19:57

My DD is nearly 4 and size 7-8 depending on the shoe and she has one foot 1/2 size bigger than the other!

Artandco · 01/01/2015 20:00

Ds1 is size 10
