Leaving the room to poo

DS is 9 months and mobile now. The last couple of weeks he more often than not crawls out of the room to do a poo. Is this a conscious thing he's doing or just a lot of coincidences? Any other babies do this??

very common, most toddlers will hide to poo. I think this is an adorable stage.

Every single time my daughter stood behind that sofa...and then you'd get the face...sometimes a little grunt.

I'd forgotten all about it, but it makes me smile now.

My DD hides under the table to poo Smile

I never knew this! Mine looks me right in the eye when he's pooing. Aaaaawkward!

MERLYPUSSEDOFF · 25/12/2014 11:21

You should be thankful. Wait til they're old enough to know to shut the loo door in mixed company, but still give you a running commentary!

CatsRule · 28/12/2014 22:11

My ds who is 2.9 hides and says he needs privacy! Privacy...he's 2.9! Anyway...then he runs in and loudly and proudly tells me he's done a poo. Glad to hear it's mormal.
