is it a growth spurt?

Hello...
Looking for some advice please mommies...
My 12 week old lb had his 2nd lot of jabs on Tuesday...since then he's been super sleepy and really fussy and irritable. He sleeps the majority of the day ad only really wakes for feeds. He will give smiles for about 15 minutes or so and then starts getting really grouchy again as if tired. One minute all he wants is cuddles and goes to sleep....then the next time awakes the pattern f smiles then the grouchiness happens. He just seems all over the place at the mo.....is it a growth spurt? Looking online sleeping this much points to that....but should he bec crying this much? Any advice would be much appreciated x x x

What do you mean 'majority' of the day? And is he sleeping at night?

15 mins of wakefulness at a time for a 3 month old doesn't sound like very much.

NHS say avg 3 month old should be sleeping 15hrs out of 24.

I don't remember my DCs sleeping more when having a growth spurt - just wanting to eat more!!!

But growth spurts only last a few days. If he's still very sleepy on Monday I'd take him to your HV.

Hiya. Yeah he still sleepa at night. He wakes for all of his feeda every 3 hours.and we get a good 5 hour stretch at night and then when he goes back to sleep usually another 3 to 4 hours.
It's just been this whole week I'm reallu struggling with him as he is really irritable and it seems rrslly difficult to read his cues
..just when I thought I was getting somewhere....
Typical. I was planning to get him weighed on monday with hv so will definitely mention it to them and see if they can check him over xx
