Pop round to their parents house and explain that you were concerned for their safety - and with you being pregnant are terribly tired and the last thing ou need is then pissing about with your doorbell - wire it up to the mains - that should stop them!!

Yep i agree, go tell the parents.
I've been to a little boys house twice who lives up the road as , once he was standing on the garage roof,(which overlooks a glass house), and another time he let himself into our garden,(it's walled), and i found him sitting crying and my boxer dog licking him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His mam was great, he hasn't done anything since (fingers crossed)

Good luck+++++++++++

I don't think you over reacting, ringing the doorbell and running away - they sound a pain the butt!!
You did twiglett what alot of people would do you reacted and were concerned for the children's safety. Don't worry about it! Just explain to any of the neighbours the shed roof is not safe. Kids will be kids and if the parents have ago just tell them you are concerned for the children. Larsxx

Sorry they're being a pain. Roll on the start of term again. The 6 year old from 2 doors up was ringing our doorbell insistantly at just before 7am this morning! Seemed surprised that I wasn't inviting him in. Hopefully he won't try that one tomorrow....

We were plagued by kids ringing our doorbell & running away every summer until the year before last. Our living room is on the first floor so we had to come all the way downstairs to find no-one there. One weekend when they were doing it we hid upstairs and watched out the window & saw the kid from next door (& others) hiding behind a bush opposite. Went straight round & told his mum- boy did he get an earful from her!!! They've never done it since

(My dad used to play the same game back in the '30's...)
