Boys will be boys - willies and remotes

Have just put DS to bed and am having a giggle at the fact that he is already fascinated with two things in life 1) his willy and 2) the tv remote. He's only 7 and a half months old! Boys will be boys, I guess...

It gets better, my two laugh when they fart!

also, bathing DS1 (3yrs) and DS2 (15mth) when DS2 grabbed his brothers willy!

I can't wait to tell them when they're older!!

Kiwiem · 05/10/2006 19:36

Ouch! Sounds like a good story for a 21st birthday to me...

Classic Kiwiem

Ds 8mths has also just discovered his and hasnt let go for several days.
He does the Fonz grin "Heyyyy" as he sits contemplating it in the bath.

Kiwiem · 05/10/2006 20:11

Yup, that's all mine does in the bath now too. TBH, he's so fascinated it's quite useful - stops him wriggling so much!

Does yours make little surprised noises too while inspecting?

Kiwiem · 05/10/2006 20:23

No, can't wait for that one! At the moment it's more a slight frown suggesting that he knows it will be useful eventually but can't quite work out what for just yet...he tries to pull it off so am keeping his nails extra short just now!

Dont think they ever grow out of it. My dh is 32 and still obsessed with his

upandaway · 05/10/2006 22:04

ha ha ha !

Gingeme · 05/10/2006 22:30

No they never grow out of it. I always say its a mans best friend, never mind a dog! My ds is 2 and a half and is using the toilet now and he counts his pooh while hes doing it! Oh and he thinks its hilarious when he farts too! Ah love him

QuootieSpookypie · 05/10/2006 22:33

OMG! same with DS!!! (6 months) He will crawl off his mat, all across the floor to get to the TV remotes! Hes very amused at the fact he has something to squeeze between his legs during a nappy change aswell

Kiwiem · 05/10/2006 22:43

DS packs a total tantrum when I try to take the remote away...he keeps changing the chuffing channel to some bizarre music station. And the nappy/willy thing drives me mad - specially if he gets to it before the poo has been wiped off! Gross.

yep! had pooey hands more than once! Babies are funny things!

Kiwiem · 05/10/2006 22:47

...and then of course the wee charmer wants to put pooey hands straight in mouth...
