Help, my 30 month old won't leave my boobs alone

I stopped breastfeeding at 18months old but she is getting more and more clingy (onto my boobs). Everytime she is anywhere near me she shoves her hand down my top and holds on tight. I try and hold her hands away but she really strongly pushes her hands down my top. She has started shouted and crying that she wants to be a baby. When I weaned her I tried giving her a teddy to hold as a comfort but she is not interested.

So she is 2 and a half and has been weaned for over a year?
What is she wanting exactly? Milk or security?
I doubt its milk after so long.
She can't go back to being a baby. How long has she been doing this?
Personally if it was me - every time she did it I'd be removing her hands and standing up if necessary so she can't reach. Explain and repeat that i don't want her hands down there. Find some kind of distraction tactics.
If you don't like it then you have to get tough.

I've got the same thing going on with DS1, actually, who I stopped feeding at the same age/time you did and he's the same age as your DD, but then I am currently breastfeeding his baby brother, and he tried to start feeding again when my colostrum came in when I was pregnant Confused He likes to sit next to me and cuddle or stroke the boob DS2 is feeding from. Odd, but understandable I guess.

I'm mainly just doing what Smartiepants says and using distraction.

Thanks both. I've been doing that for a year now Sad. I guess it's a matter of waiting till she grows out of it.
