Teething Hell

Can anyone / someone ... reassure me this is normal??

4 days solid. 11.5Mths DS refusing food, red swollen face & generally crying & clingy all day. Am
Shattered from his constant crying

I'm doing granules, calpol, ibuprofen etc .... Will it pass????

Mine was like this with her first back teeth it was horrendous, much worse than the rest had been. It took ages but then 4 popped through within a few days of eachother which I guess is why it was so bad. It does eventually end! I don't know what to suggest other than what you are already doing, maybe some bonjela and a nice cold teether. Is he drinking? Maybe a trip to the GP if it gets too bad incase he might be a little ill aswell.

Are you sure he doesn't have a bout of tonsillitis? I would get his throat and ears checked. Just incase it's an infection or whatever.

Also try offering ice cubes in his high chair. They will be good for the gums
