Dd is 2 years 10 months and every morning for about a month now, when I go in to her room in the morning, she is humping her teddy... its getting a bit odd. I thought she would just stop after a while so I didn't say anything but today she winged and said that she couldn't get her teddy 'on her bum better' which I found even odder, so I said 'well teddies aren't supposed to go on our bums.' To which she replied 'yes they are'. So I said 'well I don't put teddies on my bum.' And she 'I do mummy' !!!

It's getting a bit concerning. She doesn't do it too often with other things, just seems to be her comfort/sleep teddy... Confused

How should I go about getting her to stop doing it, or should I just continue as I have been and do/say nothing....??

Is it because she thinks that's what you do with teddies or is it because she is in discomfort?
Could she have worms? Is she constipated?
It could be that it feels nice for her.
I would try and stop her as you don't want her to think it's ok and start doing it with other things. Maybe tell her that teddy doesn't like it and doesn't want to play if she does that.

She calls her vagina 'bum' or 'woo woo' and she appears to be humping it with her 'woo woo' so I'm guessing it feels nice :/

I've just sort of been hoping it will stop eventually but it doesn't appear to abating unfortunately.
