Hi everyone,
My son who was 2 in august who has had a fear of hand dryers for several months after walking underneath one in a public toilet has now for nearly 2 weeks been petrified when anyone coughs or sneezes.
I don't know how to react to this I have been comforting him cuddles and kisses and telling him its ok. This settles him down and he then gets on with things normally.
He does not react when we fake cough or sneeze he laughs and copies but when its a real one he runs to me sometimes crying and seems really scarred.
I have googled this and know that was the wrong thing to do so wondered if anyone had any advise.
The doctor has checked his ears and there is no infection or anything going on in there.
Thanks
