Losing my mind!

Hi all.
I have one dd aged 2.10, dc2 is due in 2 weeks!
Ok dd started nursery 2 days a week back in June. Its a nursery with an outdoor setting, they are basically outside all the time playing in sand and mud etc!
She got a viral infection pretty much straight away, cough cold and ears. She doesnt seem able to fully fight it off although shes fine in the day, at night the dry tickly cough starts and it continues ALL night long.
Since June ive taken her 5 times to the gp and twice to a&e with a temp spiking 40 that I couldnt bring down (they have taken bloods, 2 chest x rays and kept her one night for obs)
They gave me an inhaler, it made the cough worse and made her vomit.
Last week we went a full week with no coughing at night so I was all hopeful she had fought it all off.
This week its back, I got zero sleep last night and im in for the same tonight.
My dh works away from home, im 2 weeks away from giving birth and generally i feel lost now and dont know what to do.
Any advice? Would you experienced mums ride this out, take her back once more to the gp, remove her from the nursery?
Tia
Very tired fed up mum :(

I'm sorry there's nobody about with better advice. I'm sure others will come along and give some helpful opinions. If you think the outdoor life at nursery is the reason why your DD gets colds/isn't shaking them off then I would take her back to the GP to see what he has to say, and then to the nursery to discuss the problem. Because it is a problem. You cannot be the first parent who has questioned - in our climate! - the success of a mostly outdoors policy. And if everyone's useless, there is nothing to stop you keep her off next week to see if a week tucked up on the sofa will bring healing - and sleep! Good luck!!!
