Playful parenting book

Has anyone had success with the ideas in this book by Lawrence Cohen? Just making a start on it & it's quite different to other approaches I've come across.

Hoping for some strategies to cope with a challenging DD age 3.

Yes. Great book. Worked brilliantly with lots of minor but annoying issues (e.g. whinging, not wanting me to leave at bedtime, etc) The only thing I think it isn't great on is consequences, where it's a bit wishy washy.

Lots of fun too to muck around with the kids acting out their issues. They thought it was hilarious and solved problems literally overnight.
