Constant cold/runny nose

Basically due to being at nursery 2 days a week!

She's been going for just over a few months and I know (from what I've been told) that it's perfectly "normal" for them to catch lots of colds.

It is driving me (and her I'm sure) mad though. If we're lucky she may go 2/3 days in a row without a snotty nose! Poor thing sounds like Darth Vadar when you lay her down for a sleep :(

I know there's not much you can do for a cold but can anyone recommend anything we can do/try to help with her symptoms?

Any advice would be very welcome

Presumably she's very little. When my DD was in that situation (had a permanent cold between Nov when she was 8 months and the following June) we tried:
Propping up the legs of the cot so it was on a slope
Mild Vapour Rub
Plug in karvol dispenser (not that karvol exists any more)
Karvol/Olbas on a tissue
Snot ducking device
Saline nasal spray

The last two were quite good (she still sometimes asks for saline now at 3.5) but am not convinced any of the others were any good. Still use olbas too but mostly because it smells nice!
