as she doesnt listen a single word you say to her and just before she went home today, i make sure that everything was in the clear and quiet and she was looking at me but it was still a "wha?", "Wha?" "wha?"

We have been telling her off all weekend and told her to start using her ears as its been going on a while but we have to repeat everything one after the other by shouting in teh end and she listened

i know this is normal but it had been driving me and Dp bonkers!!!

could she have a hearing problem?

dd1 went through a phase like this (admittedly she was only 3 at the time) and it drove us crazy - we really told her off for always saying 'what?' - turned out she had glue ear and a considerable hearing loss

there's a good way of telling ... speak in normal voice behind her and ask her if she'd like a chocolate

if she doesn't hear that then consult gp

is it normal for this age anyway?as she can hear if i call her from the kitchen and she is in the living room or upstairs but it seems like that she is looking at me or dp when we are talking to her but nothing going in in her head

we reckon that she isnt getting enough attention at home and the only way she get more attention is to be naughty here...She isnt a naughty child at all as she is a very well bahaved child and is never cheeky
