1yo hates the Grobags. What bedding is ok?

My 1yo hates Grobags. He is a wriggler and I think it restricts his movement hence why he wont sleep in them. I have got him the 2.5 tog sleepsuits from Mothercare which are working fine but I am worried about when it is really cold or in the day when he is going down for his nap. I cant really put those suits over his clothes. Can I use a light duvet/blanket for him? Worried he will get tangled...

We rarely used grobags but trad sheet and blanket(s). Duvets came when they moved to big beds (2 to 2.5).

You can use a duvet from 1. Smile

I used a cot sized duvet I bought from ikea. It was great.

Have a look at the jojomamanbebe sleep snuggler. It's basically a sleeping bag with legs. It's been a life saver for us - dd was just too restricted in a sleeping bag.

Dreamgenii twinkle tog, I think you can get it in 1 tog so good to go over clothes.
Mine also hates gro bags and the twinkle tog was a godsend as she can get up and sleepily walk in them.
