Meal size?

When should you start to regulate meal size?

My 11m old son eats loads. He's 91-98% for height and weight

He will eat loads, but often seems happy when we stop 'early'

Is he feeding himself or are you feeding him

What do you mean we finish early?

He feeds himself some finger foods but we spoon feed him cereals. He's very good at getting upset and screaming if he doesn't want to eat.

Lately he's had a big bowl of cereal and milk fruit like 10 strawberries and a slice of toast and butter. If I give him less fruit sometimes and no toast he send happy enough.

He does get upset if he's definitely hungry, I've had screaming until I come back with more fruit/yogurt before.

I would follow his lead.

I was told that a baby stomach is the same size as their fist. So it may be 6 smallish meals as well milk.
