We got DS a play kitchen from ikea and he loves it.

I bought nearly 2 DS a load of brio train tracks from ebay and he loves them so am going to get him some shiny new engines to go with it. He is 2 on 11th October. When is yours 2?

Orchard games do some nice board games with an educational slant, some of which are suitable from two.

We are in a similar quandary but he is the second one so we've got loads of big stuff kicking about like a kitchen. We bought ds1 a balance bike for his second birthday (that he's not bothered about).

I did wonder about a mini micro scooter with a seat. Again we bought a load of eBay brio (well DP did when ds1 was about 8 weeks old and he was all giddy about toys).

Ds2 does love his brother's duplo.

Probably the wrong time of year but I bought my twin niece and nephew a picnic table that has a sand tray under the table part for their second birthday. Plum Products I think, from Argos. They love it.

Micro mini scooter. They can use it from about 2 and you get a lot of use out of it .

Another thought I has had was a play tent or teepee

DS just about to turn 2 and loves Thomas Tank Engine wooden track (much cheaper on Gumtree!), any little Matchbox type cars, duplo/megoblocks, water play table (in garden), mini indoors trampoline.

My nearly 2 year old has and particularly enjoys his ikea kitchen and play food/appliances, play doh and cutters/rollers, water table, duplo and brio., toy diggers/tippers.

For his birthday next month we aren't getting too many toys but will be getting a beanbag for his bedroom and road rug, and a toy tool kit and toy iron. He's mainly into pretend play and creative things at the moment.

He'll be getting a mini micro scooter with seat for Christmas, I think.

yy to a Play Kitchen, especially the IKEA one.

Greedy Gorillas is a good game and quite simple. A sort of bingo board of healthy foods, take turns to pick a face down card. If its healthy ot goes on whoevers board has it, if its unhealthy it goes in the Gorillas mouth, with a delightful burp sound to accompany it.
