Would anyone be able to share their feeding and sleep routines for their roughly 6 month old? My dd is a week away from 6mo so thinking of weaning. Just wanted to get a few ideas of what works for others.

Thanks

hi
My dd is 7 months, but our routine started when she was 24 weeks old - so should help.
She wakes up pretty much at 7am, she gets fed a bottle of milk then, and then plays on the bed until around 9am, when she has her baby porridge, and then goes down for a nap of around 45 minutes.
Lunch is at around 12noon, we do pouches of ella's kitchen ('mush on a spoon'), try her with some finger food - she is only just getting the idea with that, and finish up with a little yoghurt. Her afternoon nap is around 4pm (again around 45 mins). She has another bottle around 2pm, then her tea around 5pm (more mush/fruit puree). Her last bottle is around 8.30 and she used to have a bottle after the afternoon nap, but has recently dropped this (Now down to 3 bottles, each around 7oz).

We put her down to be around 10pm, earlier if she is rubbing eyes etc.

On weaning, she didn't get the whole finger food until very recently (like a week ago), but wanted to start her on solids, so hence the spoon feeding. The only real advice I can give you is don't allow them to eat only sweet foods - my husband bought too much yoghurt a couple of weeks ago, and she became addicted to that - took nearly a fortnight for her to stop pulling a face when being fed savoury food!

Good luck :)

ds is exactly 26 weeks.
he is awake by about 6.30am ish and dozes in bed with me till dc1 gets up at roughly 7am. we all sit.down for breakfast at about 8am. ds will have whatever i am having, usually toast. he much prefers to feed himself so i leave him to it.
9am bf and nap of anything from 45 mins to 1hr 30 mins.
usually another bf when he wakes up. ds cannot go more than 2 hrs before needing another nap.so that takes us to lunchtime where again ds will have whatever we have. usually another bf after that then last nap from about 4pm till 5pm.
dinner at 5.30pm again just serve him up whatever we have... tonight was stir fry, he had his minus the salty sauce.
6.15pm bath with sibling then bf to sleep at 6.45pm he sleeps in with us and does wake a few times in nnight bit mostly jus to get comfy. he usually feeds in night around 10pm and 3am roughly.
dc1 used to bf loads at this age but ds doesn't at all. he has taken to soilds amazingly well. he has no teeth bit sucks and mushes it all up. i am amazed at his eating skills actually!!!
