How many times a day does your toddler accidently hurt you?

DS is nearly 4 and is generally a good boy. He doesn't ever hit or hurt anyone on purpose. However, I get head butted, elbowed or stepped on about 100 times a day.

We were just playing horsey. He head butted me twice and I got a boot in the ribs. Is this a normal amount of damage to sustain in 10 minutes of play?

When we get up in the mornings, he lays next to me in our bed. I'll sustain elbows in the neck, more head butts, kicks in the ribs etc. Again, is that normal?

I seem to be saying OWWWWWWWWWWWWW all the time. He is genuinely sorry every time he does it and checks I am ok, but he still keeps doing it. Confused

No amount of 'Please be careful because you are hurting Mummy!!!' seems to help him. He's our first, I have no idea how clumsy kids of this age generally are!

Ha ha, my 4 year old just head butted me when going in for a bedtime cuddle - Made my lip bleed Shock !! Yes, both dc manage to injure me quite frequently, usually when trying to be affectionate. Oh, and the one year old does bite me on purpose sometimes, he thinks it's funny Hmm Hmm
