Nearly 4y DD prefers Me, Not Keen on Dad - Help!

Don't really post but lurk always.
My DD is a real mummy's girl, so much so that DP feels that his relationship with her is suffering.
I breastfed & co-slept with her until she was 2 and so we are very close. I try to include DP in conversations , games etc, but it's hard work.
She will not give him a hug and constantly wants me. I don't know how to resolve this and I try to reassure DP that his relationship with her will become closer and that she will probably hate me when she hits teenage years.
We share childcare, each working 20 hours.
Anyone have similar experiences or tips?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Has this been constant or is it a new thing? When you are both home, who does the most for her?
I think they all go through this. My Ds is 4 at christmas and its quite often,'mummy do it' when daddy tries. He doesnt like DH to kiss him etc.
I wouldnt worry too much as she will change, but if its really getting you both down, I think you have to step back and let DP do a bit more!
