my bub is 14 weeks and won't sleep properly unless swaddled but he is so big now that he can easily fight his way out of it causeing me great frustration! he did sleep right thru but now wakes up to several times due to getting unwrapped, should i just continue to do it or stop it cold turkey and put up with a very tired and cranky fellow for a few days??

Have you tried the Miracle Blanket? It bought us another couple of months of swaddleability...

swaddle with elbows either straight down at his side or bent enough for thumbs to reach mouth (if you don't mind thumbsucking for self soothing). a kink in the elbows makes it easy for them to fight out.
