My 21mth would eat fruit all day if he could. Does it offer enough vitamins in replacement of veggies? We've tried hiding veggies in meals but he can spot of piece of withered spinach a mile off...

I have always just put them on his plate in small portions. He's just turned 2 and on Sunday ate his brocolli and carrots before stealing mine! This is very new but his taste buds must be changing.

My aim was to try and make it normal for him to have them on his plate. They have ended up on the floor a lot though.

I agree. Just always offer some veg on his plate and do not fuss about whether he eats them or not.
My nephew did not eat any veg until he was about 12 years old,..probably because my sister made a big fuss about it.
I should think he would be fine with fruit, especially eating a wide range of it.

I got away with cauliflower in pasta and cheese sauce as it didn't taste of much.
