Feeding issues

Hi,

I've posted recently about my LO who point blank refuses to drink from a bottle. She did so until 4 months a day since will only take the breast.

I feel I've tried EVERYTHING.

People suggested bottles with a straw which I can only find 12 months plus. She is 5.5 months.

I bought one but it seems to be valved and if she tips it obviously there is no milk around the straw so it doesn't work.

Does anyone know of any other straw type bottles or cups? Would I be better with free flow?

She can't seem to use a sippy cup either but will drink from a doidy cup but it spills all over the place.

I'm trying solids but she spits them out too...

Really want to do less breast feeding as she is so easily distracted and fussy with that too!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated Sad

Have you tried a range of different bottles? Have you tried the closer to nature ones?

If she's only 5.5 months and you've tried so many different things, the problem could be that you're not persisting long enough with each one.

There may not be something that she gets on with right away; no magic solution. I'd pick the one she gets on best with and work on that. Don't expect results overnight.
