Should I be concerned?

9 months and DS is doing ok, but he's nowhere near crawling or pulling himself up.

That concerns me, but he used to eat lots of purée and mince and mashes and had started on lumps but now no matter what consistency, or hot/cold he cries when we feed him. He will eat some finger foods and he will tear through yogurt covered anything. I'd think it was a phase but it's been months and not sure he's getting everything he needs.

My DS started crawling pulling himself up and standing in a space of a week and he is very nearly 11 months so I wouldn't worry!

With regards to food is he maybe bored with his food have you tried even a jar of something to see how he responds? And if he is still drinking milk he shoud be getting all the nutrients he needs :) providing he has over 500ml if he is ff!

We rarely make the same thing for him two days in a row. He's certainly not bored of yogurt or whole strawberries. Just fighting everyday with 'mains' is bit worrying

Have you tried just cutting his food really small and not mushing?

Sorry can't be more scientific and give you an explanation DS has days that he would only eat jelly and fruits but I put it down to the summer that he maybe just doesn't fancy hot food?

Ds1 didn't crawl or pull himself up until just before his first birthday. Dd refuses to eat anything if her teeth are bothering her (which seems like all the bloody time at the moment). We use teething gel about 10 minutes before food and that works sometimes.
I wouldn't worry but if you are concerned see your hv
