Hi everyone,
I am an MA Student in London who is currently doing research about Children and News Programmes as part of my dissertation. It would help me a lot if you could share your own and your children's experiences with news programmes such as CBBC's Newsround etc. I am very interested in all opinions and experiences - positive as well as negative - so do not hesitate to join this thread.
To help you out, I've listed a few questions below. Don't necessarily stick to these but use them to inspire your replies:
- What news programmes do you watch with your child/children?
- How do you and your child/children feel about these programmes?
- Do you as a parent have any concerns regarding these programmes?
- How does your child/do your children react to/interact with the news content?
I will notify you before including any of the replies in my dissertation, so please consider this thread as a regular discussion to share experiences and opinions about news programmes for children.
