DD has been ill on and off since last Friday - when she gets up she is fine and her usual self, but by lunchtime or just after she is complaining of a tummy ache and generally floppy/sleepy/not wanting to do anything. She has been sick three times (last Sat, Weds & today). She has also been coming out in a rash (sort of red and blotchy) sometimes. I can't thinks what it could be - the only thing I can pinpoint is last Friday she had some wild blackberries straight off the bush. If she is still like this on Mon I will take her to the docs, but just hoped someone might have any idea of what could be going on?

My dd (also 3) had something like this a few months ago but without the rash, she'd seem fine for most of the day but then would complain of a tunny ache and would often sick up her dinner she was only sick once a day though it was really strange as it was on and off so you'd think she was better then it would come back. It lasted for about a week and a half then she was fine.

*tummy ache

DB...My dd was exactly the same last week, would get up in morn and be fine, then around teatime would start crying saying she had a sore tummy, and was sick too, it ended up being a UTI, and a probable vomiting thing because of the AB's she was on.

Hope your LO feels better soon.

Thanks for your replies. I took dd to the doctors today and she has a chest infection which they think she was half fighting off. The tummy ache could be lymph nodes hurting apparently. Got some antibiotics to give her. Mind you, she has been fine today!
