HELP SCRATCHER!!

my dd keeps getting scratched by the same child, how do i deal with this? the mum and i are good friends, dh getting very cross. dd getting lots of scratch marks some quite deep. the girls generally are good friends, i just dont know how to handle this

they are both 3. the other child went through this phase last summer when we first moved to the street adn the girls seemed to work it through. on the whole they play really well together and call each other best friends and then somehting in play doesnt go their way and the other girl lashes out. myy dd lashes out verbally and shouting. its just horrible when she has a big scratch mark on her face and everyone comments about it when they are all out playing together

Well apart from suggesting that her nails are cut, I don't really know. Dh doesn't need to get cross - they are still little and testing boundaries and it's normal really.
