Can someone give me some advise. My 11 yr old lives with dad, on one of the few times he's visited I found a text on his phone "if she gets moody, ring the police" he then taught my 10 yr old that if I shout or smack them it's child abuse and to ring the police. My 10 yr old and I have had our fair share of rows but I've never hit him, I very very rarely smack him, pointless exercise of you ask me. Anyway, I have had to physically restrain him twice for kicking off, he kicked me in the stomach from the stairs once and once smacked me in the face. Hopefully 11 yr old will be visiting soon and I just wondered if anyone had any advise on how to handle him. He's not as aggressive as 10 yr old, but he's stubborn and he won't listen, especially if they are fighting with one another. I'm just worried I'm not gonna be able to handle him and I've waited so long for him to come visit the last thing I want to do is mess it up for him to go back to dad and not want to come again.
