Hi,
I'm just trying to find out if anyone else's toddlers have this or have had this. My DD has had this before last Christmas, she was so excited one night and was sick when she went to bed, then for a few weeks after that she associated going to bed with being sick, so she was sick every night only once and after the sick she went to sleep. For some reason last week she was sick at the end of the day at the childminders then on the Monday at Nursery she was fine but on the Tuesday she was sick in the morning and we had to go pick her up then on the Thursday she was instantly sick as soon as we dropped her off at the childminder. My DH and I went out for dinner on Saturday and the grandparents came in the afternoon to spend time with us and then they put her to bed, she was fine the whole time apart from when my mum went to leave the room for her to go to sleep and sick every where. My DD has said this morning that she doesn't want to go to Nursery. I haven't taken her today as I'm going to speak to her key worker there to see if we can work through this. I find this so worrying as most people I have spoken to have never come across this before. Are there any Mum's here who have experienced ths and what did you do to help you DD or DS over come their fear?
