I have 2 dc age 7 and 9 who eat a wide range of food, but nothing out of the ordinary. I am a bit worried that they will be fussy as adults as they don't want to try anything not previously tried and enjoyed. I am wondering what approach I should take to get them to be more experimental. Would really appreciate your advice.

Cooking with my DD often helps get her get interested in different foods. Also if her friends eat it then she often gives it a go too.

Eating out if you can afford it. At that age I was taking my kids to a wide range of restaurants- Thai, mexican, chinese, Sushi, Indian etc.

They loved the occasion and would be keen to try new things.
Chinese and Indian buffets are particularly good as the kids can try out lots of new things.

( I am not well off btw- we just love food)

We have a fab local butcher my ds 12 loves going and having a look at what they have on the block. He asks all kinds of questions about the different parts of meat and where they come from. Butchers also do a wide variety such as game, fish, different sausages. They'll also give you recipe ideas. Or try your local farm shop for different fruits and veg.
