Anyone got a dd who is is year 2 who would like to be a penpal to my dd?

My dd will be 7 in August. She is very quiet in school and large, organised environments but very animated at home. She hasn't made a best friend at school and I was wondering if you had a similar dd with whom she could correspond? Either by email old fashioned letter writing. She loves singing, dancing and drawing. If you are interested, please let me know. Many thanks.

My dd is the same age (summer birthday) and struggles socially - she's very quiet and finds it hard to join in with groups of children. She does have a best friend but they're going to different schools in September and I think she'd love a pen pal. I'll ask her in the morning

This is a lovely idea. I have a 7yo dd (8 in December).

I think she would love a pen pal too - do people still do it the old school way, with handwritten letters by snail mail?

I work in the arts and we live on a farm. She is keen on gymnastics and learning to play music. She would love a penfriend - she is always really excited about getting post and it'd be great for her to practise her writing a bit more (currently a v messy writer!!).

Sounds like the OP's dd has a few options above, but if anyone else has a similarly aged dd who might like a penfriend in Scotland please do let me know!

Oh how funny! Glad it has been a success for your dd . I'd still be interested in finding a pen pal for my DD, I have lovely memories of my pen friends as a kid.

I'll pm you our address and dd's name and if you send us yours we'll get a postcard off to you. She's asleep now but I'm sure she'll be excited when I tell her in the morning! She was only 3 when we left the UK so doesn't remember much but always asks questions about it so I think she'd really like to hear about life and school there - plus like your dd she loves getting post!
