potty training

today was day 1 for DD who is 2.3. only this afternoon but it went super well!!!! she was mostly starkers though and potty in the middle of the room! planning on another nakie noonie day at home tomorrow but what do I do next? clothe her & leave the house?? surely not??? Grin how? help!!!

also... wiping her bum is easy... tell her to touch her toes. wiping noonie not so easy? I know it's front to back but how important is the actual wipe? I feel all awkward doing it and don't seem to get a good wipe!!

We're about a month in. Put her in clothes tomorrow (maybe just knickers) so she gets the idea of having to take them off for a wee. Then we just dressed and went out. We take the potty out with us wherever we go, so no worries about finding a toilet (it's a bit of a pain, but it's only temporary!). She had 1 accident on the first day, but that was it. You just have to take the plunge I'm afraid. Just make sure you have several pairs of spare pants (I only put dresses on her with no tights for the first week or so). As for wiping - for wees she does it herself, I only intervene if its a messy poo! Hope that helps xxx
