perplexed by neighbour's behaviour with her daughter

My neighbour is a fitness instructor, and has a 7 yo DD. She's quite driven, but I am starting to get a bit concerned - she has her daughter out with her for her morning runs for 3 miles, takes her to 2 different fitness clubs a night 6 days a week, and today posted a pic on fb of her daughter being told to do full body heaves on a pull up bar. Is this Ok for such a young child?

Well, I'd guess as her mother and a fitness instructor she knows much more about such things than you or me.

I don't see the problem of the body heaves-the little boy I nannied used to do that on the edge of the table to see what was on the table-he was 15 months at the time.

I know of a few 7yos who will happily accompany their parents on runs, one I know does 5+km runs with no problems-it's his dm who struggles to keep up with him, and if you saw his grin while he's running you would know that he loves it (particularly beating his dm!)
