Is there a developmental leap around 20 months?

DD turns 20 months in 6 days time and seems to be getting mighty annoyed with not being able to verbalise what she wants - cue lots of angry shouting and flapping of arms....

I'm not sure but there is said to be a language 'explosion' around 21 months..perhaps she knows the words she wants to say but cannot quite manage them yet?

Yes I think so. Do you know the wonder weeks? Might be on that website.
