umm... DD1 is 2.2 but can't remember anything!!

DD2 is really good but her feeding is a bit all over the shop. sometimes takes a bottle & wants another straight away, sometimes wakes for feed has a couple of gulps & falls back to sleep. sometimes she goes 3.5/4 hours and sometimes 2 between feeds. as I have DD1 I would ideally like to regulate feeding times so it doesn't coincide with making/eating dinner, childminder drop off/pick up, bathtime, bedtine storytime etc. otherwise hubby tends to take care if DD1 & I do feeds & I really want to keep things as nornal & balanced between us as possible. plus when hub not here wilk make things easier for me.

is it a bit early yet?

Also, baby stays in lounge with us until we go to bed. I can't remember when I started putting DD1 up into our room at "bedtime" and tgen joining her an hour or 2 later!?! too early?

DD1 has ALWAYS had a fab routine & as a result has alwsys been great at bedtimes. just conscious of doing same for new one...

It's far too early to worry about a routine at 3wo! Relax and enjoy the newborn stage, it's totally natural for things to be a bit all over the place - around 8-10 weeks you'll probably find things have settled down more and your lo will be receptive to a more structured routine. At the moment the best thing for the baby is to be close to you so I also wouldn't start moving her upstairs in the evening just yet.
