4 month old DD suddenly a at night

Come 6pm every night, my DD suddenly switches from being a little angel to a little devil! Gone are the smiles and in place are lots of tears, fussiness at the breast (she's EBF) and it takes her a while to settle her to sleep. I can't work out the reason behind her discomfort; she doesn't appear to have wind but I have tried treating her for that. Nothing seems to calm her until I've managed to get her to feed & then she ll cluster feed until she falls asleep. Then she ll feed every 3 hours during the night rather then sleeping through like she used to. Am I missing tiredness cues perhaps? Is it tummy ache? Or is it one of these crazy "developmental phases?" Please help, I want to make her happy again!

Google 'four month sleep regression'. My DS1 suddenly started waking hourly through the night at this stage Shock

DS2 is only seven weeks but I'm dreading going through that again Confused

4 months is a classic developmental phase. Deep breath. Grit teeth. Get through it. Good luck!

ps - highly recommend book 'Wonder Weeks' to earn you when these phases are likely to occur.

Ride the storm through the sleep regression and developmental spurt.

Don't worry she will be back to her usual self soon AND doing something new and wonderful for you.
