I'm starting to feel like I'm losing my marbles! DD 22 months had a tummy bug a week ago, only sick once but had poo like clay (greyish, sticky) for a week. She was unhappy and clingy and I literally had to spend the whole of last Friday sat hugging her watching heinous amounts of kids programmes. I'm not a daytime tv person at all, it was monstrous! Fast forward to Friday just gone and DS 11 months gets it....but much worse. Projectile vomit, epic diarrhea etc. A dreadful weekend followed.
He seemed totally fine yesterday and was keeping food down fully again so I gave him a normal dinner. Big mistake. We had a dreadful sickness & poo incident in the night, literally plastered himself and his cot.
Now I'm back to square one with a seriously clingy boy who only wants me and cries if anyone else tries to hold him for me, his favourite and most overused word is 'maaaaaaaaaaaama' and a very whiny, tearful 22 month old who is constantly crying over toys DS has as she thinks they are all hers, all the time.
Moral support? Tips? I'm trapped in the lounge unable to leave with a chorus of screams, I had to clean up the horrendous mess and just let them scream this morning. I've given in and put their sing and sign DVD on having brought down loads of toys only to have to break up about a million scraps over the same toy....because out of all the ones I've brought down, they would want what the other has......
