Worried about my 17 week old.

My daughter is 17 weeks today and I think she seems really behind other babies of her age. She doesn't really pay much attention to toys or objects in front of her. Up until recently she wouldn't follow a small object with her eyes and she doesn't reach out for things. She smiles at you and will coo and talk.

Should I be worried? She was born at 37 weeks so not sure if that makes a difference?

Babies all develop at different rates, but if you're worried talk to your Health Visitor. is there a drop-in baby clinic you can visit?

Could it just be that her eyesight is a little behind?

All babies develop at diff rates but I'd mention it to your hv.
Mine only just started rolling at 8 month's and the avg is 4 apparently but it's just one of those things - some are early some late - such is the nature of averages.

Perfectly normal!

I don't know enough to say that what you describe is normal or not but the lack of tracking and reaching would make me want to get her eyesight checked out for sure.
