I don't want a little brother/sister...

"I want a big one, so I can talk to them and they can teach me to read and do maths."

Says my ds to anyone who asks about whether he would like a sibling. I love this answer - because I don't have a time machine and so cannot help him.

It also shuts people up in a nice way.

Apart from the one lady who has adopted 3 children herself - who naturally thought that would be the answer.

I think ds has deffo realised that people who have little brothers and sisters have a tired mum who is a little like a crazed loon (see Suzy Wong's thread on subject).
