Ds is 11mo and has his first 8 teeth. BUt the last few days (and nights ) he's been miserable and drooling like a madman.

Which teeth are next? The poor kid is not having fun (neither are his mommy and daddy) and I'm not sure how to help him. We've been giving him nurofen which works for a while. Last night He fell asleep and within the hour was crying unconsolably - though I think he was still asleep.

It only gets worse too doesn't it. These aren't even molars yet are they. I'm going to crawl into a hole and not come out til he's 5.

Bless I know how you feel DS (11months) has two and two on the way so at least you are further along the path than us. We have been told that we can give nurofen then 2 hrs later give calpol or medised. Personaly I opt for medised as it can make them drowsy!!!!! That way we all get a bit of kip. Come and join us on the september post natal thread if you want a bit of support hun.

If he's got 8 teeth already, I guess he's got his front ones, so the next ones to come through are the molars, they are big so can hurt alot. Dd is 15mths and has got 13 teeth, 4 molars and her first incisor is pushing through now. I also use ambosel, you rub it into their gums and it makes them numb, it seems to help her.
