Cot - Ouch Head Banging!

Help!!!!

I am desperate for some advice.

I have a 13 month old, she sleeps in a cotbed in a growbag and up until the last 2 weeks slept like an angel.

She is now moving around in the cot and as a consequence keeps banging her head on the end. Most of the time this bothers us a lot more than her. Last night there was an almighty bang and lots of crying. She had banged her head, after some cuddles seemed fine and went off to the land of nod.

Obviously there is a lot of bad press re cot bumpers and she would simply try and pull off - any other suggestions?

Both of ours went through phases of banging their heads against the end of the cot as older babies (can't remember how old exactly, but probably similar to yours). As you say, it generally bothered us more than it seemed to bother them. We agonised over what to do about it, but within a few weeks they had learnt not to bang their heads so we didn't need to do anything in the end. The one thing we did was to rearrange their bears at the top of the cot before we went to sleep ourselves, which made a sort of buffer but left the bears available.

Thanks for the advice

She only really has one teddy - all the others get thrown out - but a good tip prior to getting into bed youself
