Our dds have got on together really well until the last few weeks when dd2 has suiddenly hit upon the power of hurting someone else. She pinches, scratches and hits. Of course - she gets the required reaction (ie it has an effect). What I want to know is how to stop it? I really want my dds to be siblings who get on well together - and really don't wantt hem to fight like cat-and-dog as I did with my sister. Any tips?

ok - if you want to be semantically correct, then no, of course not - I was just asking for tips on how to resolve the issue

remove her from the situation. if she jumps on your dd1 (like my dd3 does to dd1+2) then pick her up and move her out of the dd1 way.
