Baby screaming during sleep

As anyone has similar?
My 11 month old often cries in sleep, but it isn't improving at all and is starting to get worse. She will thrash around the bed arching back, hitting herself around the ears, screaming on times all during sleep, she will settle for a few minutes and then it starts again

She has awful wind but I don't know if that is connected to the sleep.

please help as its awful to watch and nothing i've tried seams to help.

She is alert, happy and ok during the day

I wish I could help but I'm in exactly the same position at the moment, so you have my complete sympathies.

11mo dd lets out blood-curdling screams, cries, thrashes about and looks really uncomfortable all night, but she generally seems to be doing it all in her sleep. I wonder if it's a developmental thing - maybe frustration at not being able to run round and talk?

The only solution I can currently see is getting her a cot bed which might give her a bit more room for these little episodes (she's just in a cot at the moment). But I wish I knew how to stop them!
