Putting a 5yo back in pull ups at night?

DD (5.7) has always been a late potty trainer and we finally got her out of night time pull ups around her 5th birthday. Since then she has had some periods of being dry every night for weeks and some periods of infrequent accidents.

But recently she has been having accidents every night, and often twice a night. She simply does not wake up to go to tge toilet. I always take her to the toilet at about 11pm but even then I often find her wet.

Should we go back to pull ups for a few weeks? It's so tempting!

Is she drinking much before bed?

She does always have a drink of water before bed but no more than she's had before (when having dry nights).

I would take her, with a urine sample, to the GP to rule out infection or anything else. If nothing is found I would go back to pull-ups until she is ready. Has anything changed in her life. New baby, school, trouble with friends. It may just settle down.

Is it upsetting her? If so I would probably go back to pull ups for a few weeks.

My ds is around the same age. He is not doing it as often as your dd so I think the reason might be different. I think my ds does it when he is anxious about things that have happened during the day, he is over tired and/or he has drank a lot before going to bed. I only give him a very small drink 30 mins before bed.

I hope someone comes along with some good advice.
